PEL BENEFIT

Extra coverage at a reduced price

The GE Personal Excess Liability (PEL) policy is different because it's part of the GE Associate Benefits program. That means that unlike those buying standard (and usually more restrictive) umbrella liability policies, GE employees pay a fraction of the cost. Another unique feature is two options: PEL Primary makes coverage more accessible to eligible employees purchasing PEL for the first time; PEL Plus provides coverage limits of up to $5,000,000 and does not require you to have your auto and home insurance with us to be eligible.

Relocating? We're with GE employees every step of the way and even beyond. We cover your household goods while they're in transit and help you learn the ropes about auto and home insurance requirements in your new location. We can also help you get GE-discounted auto and home insurance to add a little security in a time of transition.

PAYROLL DEDUCTION

Spend less time on bills. Less money, too.

Pay your Electric Insurance premiums by signing up for payroll deduction and not only will you never have to remember to write and mail a check, you'll also save money. A 2% discount applies, as does the waiver of the service fee for people who pay over time — that's another $55 in your pocket*.
